About Vandorq

An engineering company built around accountability.

Vandorq Corporation Private Limited exists for a specific kind of problem: an organisation whose technology estate has grown faster than its architecture. We bring cloud, data, software and security engineering back under one design authority — and then stay long enough to prove it works.

01 / Who we are

We were built to fix the seams between systems.

Most technology failures are not failures of tools. They happen in the seams — between the cloud platform and the applications on it, between the data warehouse and the people who need to trust it, between the security policy on paper and the configuration actually running in production.

Vandorq was formed by engineers who spent their careers in those seams. That shaped how we work: a single design authority across infrastructure, data, software and security; written architecture before implementation; and delivery in slices small enough to verify.

We are deliberately an engineering company rather than a reseller or a staffing business. We hold no platform quota, we do not bill for seats we cannot justify, and we measure ourselves on whether the system we built is still healthy a year later.

How we engineer

CLOUD DATA SECURITY SOFTWARE ENTERPRISE ADVISORY

02 / Direction

Vision and mission, stated plainly.

Our vision

To be the technology partner that enterprises trust with their core systems — because the platforms we engineer stay secure, understandable and economical long after the project closes.

  • Architecture that outlives the engagement
  • Systems the client's own team can operate
  • Technology decisions defensible to a board and an auditor

Our mission

To design, build and operate cloud, data, software and security systems as one engineered whole — delivered in verifiable increments, documented as code, and measured against outcomes the business already tracks.

  • One accountable team across the full stack
  • Every increment demonstrable, reversible and documented
  • Security and cost engineered in from the first design

03 / Core values

Six commitments that survive a difficult project.

Values are only real when they cost something. These are the ones we apply when a deadline, a budget or a client preference pushes the other way.

01

Truth over comfort

If an assessment finds that the plan is wrong, the timeline is optimistic or the platform choice is a mistake, we say so in writing — before the invoice, not after the incident.

02

Engineer for the operator

The person who will run this at 3am is a first-class stakeholder. Clear naming, sane defaults, real runbooks and low-noise alerting are design requirements.

03

Simplicity is a control

Every unnecessary component is an additional failure mode and an additional attack surface. We remove before we add, and we justify what stays.

04

Evidence, not assertion

Recovery targets are tested, not declared. Performance claims come with numbers. Security controls come with logs that prove they fired.

05

Own the whole outcome

We do not hand a problem back because it sits between two teams. If it is inside the boundary we agreed, it is ours until it is resolved.

06

Teach while we build

Your engineers sit in our design reviews and pull requests. Knowledge transfer is continuous, not a workshop scheduled the week we leave.

Engineering principles

P1

Architecture is written down

Diagrams, decision records and non-functional requirements exist before code

P2

Everything reproducible as code

Infrastructure, policy, pipelines and environments version-controlled

P3

Least privilege by default

Identity-first security, scoped credentials, no standing admin access

P4

Observable before optimised

Metrics, logs and traces first; tuning decisions follow the data

P5

Cost is a design constraint

Unit economics modelled at design time, not discovered in month three

P6

Handover is a deliverable

Runbooks, enablement and exit documentation shipped with the system

04 / Technology philosophy

Choose boring where it matters. Innovate where it pays.

We are conservative about the foundation and ambitious at the edge. Identity, networking, data integrity and backup strategy get proven, well-understood patterns. Experimentation belongs in the layers where failure is cheap and reversible.

That is why we favour managed services over bespoke infrastructure, standard protocols over proprietary connectors, and open formats for data we expect to outlive the tool currently reading it.

Well-architected patterns Open data formats Infrastructure as code Zero Trust identity Automated testing Reversible increments

05 / Expertise

Depth in three engineering disciplines.

Our practices are staffed for depth rather than breadth-for-its-own-sake. These are the areas where we are prepared to be judged on detail.

Platform & infrastructure

The foundation everything else inherits: accounts, networks, identity, runtime and the automation that keeps them consistent.

  • Multi-account landing zones on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
  • Kubernetes platform engineering and GitOps delivery
  • Terraform modules, policy as code and drift control
  • Observability, SRE practice and disaster recovery testing

Data & intelligence

Pipelines and models built so that a number in a report can be traced back to the system that produced it.

  • Lakehouse and warehouse design, batch plus streaming ingestion
  • Dimensional and semantic modelling with tested transformations
  • Catalogue, lineage, data quality gates and PII classification
  • Forecasting, anomaly detection and production ML operations

Software & security

Application engineering with the security controls built into the same pipeline that ships the code.

  • Web platforms, APIs and integration services at enterprise scale
  • Monolith decomposition with zero-downtime cutover patterns
  • DevSecOps: SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning and signed artefacts
  • Identity architecture, SIEM/SOAR engineering and incident response

06 / How an engagement runs

You will know what happens in every week.

A typical first engagement follows this shape. Durations shift with scope, but the sequence and the artefacts do not.

No engagement starts without a written scope

Objectives, boundaries, assumptions, dependencies, acceptance criteria and the named engineers on the team — agreed before work begins.

Week 0

Technical discovery call

A senior architect, not a salesperson. We establish the problem, constraints, and whether we are actually the right partner for it.

Weeks 1–3

Assessment

Estate review across infrastructure, data, applications and security posture. Output: prioritised findings, risk register and an indicative business case.

Weeks 3–5

Target architecture & roadmap

Target state, platform decisions with rationale, non-functional requirements, sequenced roadmap, cost model and delivery plan.

Ongoing

Incremental delivery

Two-week increments, each ending in a working demonstration, updated documentation and a decision log entry.

Steady state

Operate or hand over

Managed operations against agreed service levels — or a structured handover with runbooks, enablement and an exit checklist.

07 / Why organisations work with us

What you actually get for the money.

01

A named team, not a resource pool

You know who is on your engagement, what they are accountable for, and how to reach them. Rotation happens with notice and overlap, never silently.

02

Estimates you can challenge

Effort is broken down by component with assumptions listed. If we are wrong, you can see where the model was wrong — and so can we.

03

No lock-in engineering

We do not build hidden dependencies on ourselves. Source, infrastructure definitions, credentials and documentation are yours throughout.

04

Outcomes reported in your language

Monthly reporting in business terms: availability, cost per unit, cycle time, incident trend and risk closure — not a list of closed tickets.
